Tehran and the Other Twenty Nine Hosts of the Third IFPPP

Tehran Center for Children’s Mental Development Hosted the Closing Ceremony of the Third International Pediatric Patients Painting Festival. With Beautiful Artworks and Performances from Zohreh Bahroolomi and Mahsa Iranian last Friday on the Final Day of National Children's Week

 

As Bahareh Jahandoust and 24 Kids from all around the world are getting ready for the closing ceremony of the third IFPPP, to be held later than usual during along with the USERN congress 2017, in November, regional festivals commenced in Tehran and 30 other Pediatric centers worldwide.

The third painting festival was looked forward even more, while for the first time over 1400 artworks had taken part in the huge international art event, and the local executives had planned for a two round voting system for paintings from 20 different nations to one destination, Tehran Children’s Medical Center. 

Two-hundred pieces of marvellous paintings made it qualified to the local committee of fifteen Iranian artists early on March. Painting were sent for the second round of referees, bringing in 8 top-selected artworks in each of the four ranking age-groups (1-6, 7-10, 11-14 and 15-18 years old). It was not until August when the third IFPPP recognized top 3 young artists, not to be introduced till November.

The IFPPP festival isn’t waiting though. Thousands of sick kids worldwide are now connected as they celebrate world Children’s week with the IFPPP festival running with 200 paintings embroiding in more than thirty children hospitals all around the globe. All along with children in 30 academic centers worldwide, Nima Rezaei and Dr. Beatriz Tavares Costa-Carvalho started the first of the many exhibitions of the 3rd IFPPP, a week earlier along with young Brazilian young artists, as side event to the second day of Latin American society of immunodeficiencies (LASID) meeting, at Sao Paulo Convention center.  

Now in Tehran they celebrated this event on October 12th as they gathered in Hejab hall along with USERN president, IFPPP executive chair, Bahareh Jahandoust, and Iranian artists, referees from local audit: Aitay Khorami Nejad, Majid Zakeri, Fatemeh Radpour, Mahshid Raghemi, Armaghan Rahman pour, Saba Safa, Golnoosh Attar, Arezoo and Afrooz Gholizade, Mahsa Karimi, Atiyeh Markazi, Lida Motamed, Nooshid Mirzaei, Golnaz Valamotamed and Zahra Hooshyar, among which were young Iranian laurates of the first and second IFPPP.  Ava Fayazi and Parsa Salmanzade, young artists were also part of the program, tell-telling the Shahname for the audience. 

Later on November and while the second USERN congress is running in Kharkov, the last exhibition is expected in Kharkov Palace. Twenty-Four kids and their parents are now counting days off to get to Kharkov for the final ceremony of IFPPP number 3.
