Inbound and Outbound Policies Just Work for Us

What Does USERN President Think Of USERN Events In Shiraz? More USERN Events Administered By USERN Offices Are On Way? How Would The 5th USERN Be Like? Who Will Be The Guests And How To Register For The Event? Read this and you’ll Figure…

The 16th USERN book writing workshop, USERN expert express event and USERN Talk number 55 were only parts of the tight schedule Nima Rezaei was following during his two day trip to Shiraz.

Nima Rezaei talked about the two day trip to Shiraz as a unique experience in USERN history. "Only a little more than two years after USERN held the very first event and today we have the same energy and eager in USERN offices to hold successful meetings and workshops, as we saw in Shiraz in the last two days", says USERN president after a four-hour USERN talk, How to have successful scientific collaboration, allegedly planned for only an hour, on Thursday morning. Thanks to nice timing and efforts of Dr. Erfani, head of international chancellery of Shiraz Medical University and Dr. Razmkhah, USERN office director at SUMS, USERN events in Shiraz were crowded more than ever as students refused to leave the conference hall more than two hours after the USERN talk had finished.

USERN logistic and scientific deputies are now steering of the 5th round of USERN miniature talks. You should expect nothing more than surprise from this new round of mTalks with a compilation of senior and junior talks, this time of public health, global health education and challenges of scientific life by three senior speakers. Professor Jan Nouwen, director of the global health education program and his fellow Iranian scientist, Dr. Tokameh Mahmoudi from virology and biochemistry department, both from Erasmus MC and last but not least, Professor Amirhossein Takian, chair and associate professor of health policy at TUMS are going to discuss challenge of health education and health policy making, this Tuesday in CMC, Gharib St. in Tehran. And don’t forget to register for the limited seats available: https://goo.gl/tS2X8P

Dr. Mahmoudi’s speech however would have a shade of personal experience on balancing personal and scientific life. The Iranian scientist has found her own way of dealing with life and carrier, finding comfort in planning leisure time and focused studying as she made her way through being associate professor of biochemistry and virology at Erasmus MC. Professor Nouwen’s life time experience in directing and planning health education programs and his clinical experience as an internist and in infectious disease, as well as Professor Takian’s familiarity with domestic health policies would make the senior speeches on Tuesday more challenging.

Worth saying that the USERN mTalk is brought to you as a joint collaboration of TUMS school of public health, TUMS international affairs and USERN scientific deputy. Looks like both inbound and outbound relations work for USERN!
