Severe Season Two in USERN Miniature Talks Ended Just A Few Hours Ago, as Professor. Rezaei Announced that the Contest will be Upgraded for at Least another 4 Rounds Before the Season Finale. Mohammad Javad Kamali Ashtiani and Maryam Mirzaei Won Back-to-Back as Bests Social Miniature Talk Lecturers, and Mahsa Yousefpour was Crowned for the Best Calligraphy.
The "Categorizing Mind", The "Situationalist Human Being" and the "Milgram-Limbardo-Genovese triad", were the key points of Azaraksh Morki in the first senior miniature talk speech, as Peyman Peyrovi was performing calligraphy on the other side of the stage at the children’s medical center hospital hall.
"Interpersonal variabilities in behaviour is even far more substantial than intrapersonal variability between situations. There is nothing as human nature, it is the narrative identity, our daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reminders of the features we have defined ourselves by. Fundamental attribution error, is the key cognitive error, nurturing our mind in the illusions we have built from ourselves"
- Dr. Mokri’s speech received a huge applause and supporting chants from the audience.
Mohammad Amin Saraei, a psychiatry student was flanked by Mokri and the next talk presenter, on ''Perfectionism''. John Bowers controversial theory on the benefits of perfectionism versus the problems with perfectionism were highlights of Saraei’s talk. "We can aim for perfectionism but love our flawed and unperfected self" was the take home message of the first. Fatmeeh Kazemi’s, on-show calligraphy, was rated as "medium" by Master Ettehad and as “medium high" by Master Ghoreishi, Iranian calligraphists.
Next was Seyed Fatemeh Mohammadi, who had prepared ''Prapsychology'' as a title. ''Carl Jung, reverberated the importance of self-inceptions in understanding human mind'' -Mohammadi stated, spicing up with live examples on the recent earthquake and her own experience. Dr. Mokri next commented in support of the choice and against the concept of parapsychology. Mahtab Hajian was the calligraphist for the second miniature talk. Master Sadat Hosseini, and master Peyrovi, commented high on the artwork and Hajian’s stress-free performance on the stage.
Going on with junior miniature talks, Mehdi Basirian, medical student had chosen depression, the second high morbidity affecting illness by 2020, as predicted by the World’s Health Organization. Sepideh Shakarkami was the young calligraphist with simultaneous art performance. Dr. Tavakoli, one of the referees mentioned the situations and the lecture as daring and common. Ehsan Rezaei, who had himself presented a miniature talk at the USREN anniversary, featured the pace and rhythm of Basirian’s lecture as a strong point.
Bird’s Body Language, was the unusual topic presented by Farzaneh Sabouhi, veterinarian and researcher on ethology, AKA; animal behaviour, while master Hossein Tazari was creating "Hiich, [nothing]" as a painting. "Flushing", "purring", "sweeping", and "growing" were exotic key terms in her 6-minute speech. Dr. Noorbakhsh and Dr. Mokri commented positive on Sabouhi's lecture.
Shahab Anari, was next on stage, arguing how high intelligence could be harmful and even disastrous! In reminisce of his adolescence studying in the special talents school, ranking first in university entrance exam, Anari revealed his own struggle with perfectionism, poor social contact and psychosomatic problems. His experience with hundreds of high functioning, top ranked IQ students over years, and his belief in Goldman’s saying the Emotional Intelligence was a better predictor of general wellbeing.
Social communication, negotiation skills and self-awareness are those which guarnatee a better descision making -Anari siad.
Masters Setareh Ghane and Gharakhanloo, were performing calligraphy, during Anari's 10-minute lecture.
"More is Different" was Mohammad Javad Kamali Ashtiani’s encryption of the "Nature’s Wonder". His study in complex system physics was his golden ticket for a mind-catching lecture on how physics and mathematics could predict human behaviour, social media networking and human brain. Dr. Noorbakhsh and Dr. Morki commented on the topic, his own interest, "mind-body dualism". Master Gharakhanloo and Master Noorlolahi, complemented high on Parnain Nikraftar calligraphy.
Artist Mohsen Meraati was performing a on the stage, third artist in the row while Maryam Mirzaei, had grabbed eyes to the screen with "Brain Drain", the sad story of Iranian Scientists Widespread Migration, in the last decade. Shahab Anari praised her sense of humor and documentary comments and Dr. Tavakoli, . Master Peyrovi and master Goreishi both commented on the graphic of Meratti's performance.
Melika Aran and Zahra Raof were pair lecturers presenting "Game Theory". Starting with the "Nudge" published by Richard Thayler, Nobel laureates, cornerstone of the topic. Optimal Decision making and optimising predictability of our decision making, were keywords of their lecture. Ehsan Rezaei, criticized the lecture for lack of humor and Dr. Noorbakhsh mentioned that both "game-theorists" who won a Economy Noble prize were actually mathematicians. Dr. Mehdizadeh and Master Ettehad commented positive on the composition of the artwork of Mahsa Yousefpour calligraphy. Artists and lecturers gathered up on the stage for final voting’s, while Mater Ettehad, renowned Iranian calligrapher and director in charge of Iranian Calligraphist Society, was creating his own art creation. Mohammad Javad Kamali Ashtiani and Maryam Mirzaei won back-to-back as bests social miniature talk lecturers, and Mahsa Yousefpour was crowned for the best calligraphy.
