USERN President Professor Nima Rezaei Was In Yerevan For The 2nd Time During Last Year To Meet Up With Colleagues In The Arabkir Medical Center And Discuss The Latest On Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders (PID) Care And Diagnosis During The 2nd J Project Meeting In Yerevan.
USERN president Professor Nima Rezaei was in Yerevan for the 2nd time during last year to meet up with colleagues in the Arabkir medical center and discuss the latest on primary immunodeficiency disorders (PID) care and diagnosis during the 2nd J-project meeting in Yerevan.
During his 3-day visit to Yerevan, organized by Dr. Sevan Iritsyan, USERN Junior Ambassador to Armenia, USERN president had the chance to meet up with colleagues from the Arbakir Medical Center, one of the largest and pioneer centers in country while getting to meet Dr. Arman Babloyan director of the center.
Besides multiple interactive discussions on clinical phenotypes of PIDs, basics of genetic tests, and screening tests of the PIDs, case discussions, and meetings, there was still time for Professor Rezaei and Dr. Iritsyan to meet with Armenian News agency and also with Dr. Babloyan to sign a MoU between USERN and the Arbakir MC on April 19th.
The meeting, held three days prior to the world PID week, "was a step towards to raise a more intense response to the problem of primary immunodeficiency in medical circles and draw public attention to it" according to Iritsyan in his interview with the Arman Press.
After several rounds with pediatric specialists of the Arabkir Medical Center and patient visits, Professor Rezaei returned to Tehran to hold the 4th PID Spring School in Tehran, on April 24-25th.
