Health and Art Group is Busy after the Voting Session of More Than 1000 Paintings Of the 4th IFPPP + Should We Expect a New Production by the HEART Band Any Time Soon?
The HEART managed the fourth juristic gathering of the International Festivals of Pediatric Patients Paintings (IFPPP) on July 15th in Children’s Medical Center. Jury were a mesh of senior artists, children, who were junior artists’ owner of top paintings of the previous IFPPPs, international students and recognized artists in USERN mTalk art contests. Surviving the marathon of more than 1000 paintings from all over the world, were 12 paintings in each of the 8 age groups. Top three jury-selected finalists were anonymously selected, for the wrenching five-hour voting to come to an end.
"We identified some spectacular painting from kids all around the country. It was like thousands of unspoken words behind each painting. IFPPP is a recess to give space for emotional healing pediatric patients”, said Nima Rezaei, chair of the festival. "Audience view" is the new section and final step for the IFPPP winners dream to realize. On hot late morning hours of each Thursday in July, remote sounds of organ, violin and guitar playing fills up the space in the fourth floor of children’s medical center. Where little band mates of the "HEART Band" are practicing their first verses together. Nila, Sorya, Setayesh, Shida, Sanaz, Ojan, Mani, Poya, and Asma are determined to have a voice of their HEART, practicing to reach a harmony with help from their choreographer, Nima Rezaei and musicians who occasionally join them for technical advice. More news of the band and it’s performance debut is yet to be revealed.
