A serious game is a game designed for a primary purpose other than pure entertainment, and our purpose is absolutely pure: Saving Nature!

The event is organized to two sets of morning and evening events. The morning sessions are environmental talks by distinguished researchers in the field; Professor Omid Bozorg Haddad and Professor Mahvi, USERN Advisory Board Members. They morning lectures are nothing like regular lectures. They are brief, problem-oriented and focused on the environmental hazards that will be parts of the answers of the gaming scenarios in the evening events.

From 2-6 P.M. in the afternoon, participating groups will take their chance to solve the environmental problems designed as game scenarios in a 3 separate rooms. The scenarios consists of written material, databases, scrapbooks, microscopes or even physical evidence and real game play, to get to the ultimate environmental hazard responsible for the environmental problem. It could be plastic, acid rain, deforestation, fast-food, air pollution, water pollution or any combination of those. The ultimate answer would be a logical chain of events that describes the reason behind the environmental problem.

We are interested for this game, just as you are! Register your group and Save the Date (May 2nd/ 12th Ordibehesht):
