USERN President Professor Nima Rezaei Was Invited As A Guest Speaker To The World Health Summit Regional Meeting On April 29th-May 1st 2019 And Did Nothing But His Best To Represent A Living Sample Of Scientific Diplomacy During This +5000 Health Convention In Kish, Iran.
Tehran University of Medical Sciences hosted the 7th Regional Meeting of World Health Summit in a star-studded ceremony with more than 170 international guests, AKA. scientific celebrities from 43 countries around the globe, and no one but USERN was the walking talk of active scientific diplomacy with 11 memorandums of agreement signed during a 30-minute event on the last of the congression on May 1st.
TUMS website and IRNA news agency called the meeting and MoU ceremony a "depiction of scientific diplomacy" and” an exceptional opportunity to boost our scientific ties overseas".
USERN President got to meet and sign memorandums of agreement with the Scenarium group of GmbH, Germany, Institute for research in international assistance, Switzerland, Center for biomedical law and faculty of Medicine at university of Coimbra, Portugal, Association for Medical schools in Europe, the AL-HAYAT foundation in Najaf, Iraq, the Astana Medical University, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, Thammasat University, Thailand, the Moroccan Association Hassanian for Health and Environment, and the College of Health at Makerere University in Uganda. Nima Rezaei also hosted a panel event during the summit on "Networking in Medical Education" highlighting the achievements of USERN in establishing long-lasting exchange programs with Medical Schools in Kharkiv, Santiago de Compostela, and Berlin. Professor Rezaei remarked the MoU with Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE) president Dr. Peter Dieter as one of the most valuable ones in the event.
