USERN Congress 2016, Press Conference

Tehran University of Medical Sciences will be the host of Noble & Abel Laureates, outstanding researchers and students in the first international USERN congress & USERN Prize festival on 8-10th of November this year.
‘’Distinguished researchers among top 1% scientists and also Nobel & Abel Laureates, professor John Gurdon and professor Louis Nirenberg, are going to have their fascinating lectures in various fields of science from very inside the body to the infinite of the world’’ stated Professor Nima Rezaei, the president of USERN, in a press conference, held on 26th of July in TUMS
In addition to the parallel focused group discussions in which top scientists will have a more detailed deliberation with interested attendees, in the final day 5 sophisticated young researchers are going to be given the USERN Prize in 5 fields of science. 573 noticeable researchers have been nominated for USERN Prize until the deadline (1st of July). 46 researchers have been qualified for further considerations by the advisory board of USERN including 12 Nobel & Abel Laureates. 10th of November, the day for peace and development, will be the day for dedication of USERN Prize, he added.
Professor Rezaei stated that USERN congress and USERN Prize festival will be held in Kharkiv, Ukraine and in Vienna, Austria, in 2017 and 2018, respectively. France is one of the candidates in 2019.
He alleged that USERN Statute will be exhibited in the festival, this document which has been signed by more than 150 of the world’s top 1% scientists. The USERN Statute draws strict borders in order to adhere to ultimate USERN goals, particularly non involvement in political and military issues.
Dr. Sanam Seyedian, executive director of USERN, explained: The theme of the congress will be “Science without Borders”. Our audience can be among all fields of science with any nationality. Congress lecturers are from different countries in different disciplines.
