First joint meeting of Iranian Top Scientists: USERN Was the Host

For the first time in Iran, the top 1% scientists of different fields of science including, Medicine, Chemistry, Material engineering and Mathematics gathered together on the last day of 2015 to meet, share ideas and discuss issues concerning the scientific board of USERN.  TUMS international deputy took this initiative in the last day of 2015 by inviting Iranian top 1% scientists introduced by the ESI many of whom were also in the list of scientists with highly cited papers. 

A special guest of this meeting was Prof. Robert G. Hill from Queen Mary university of London who has been listed as top 1 % scientists of since. The meeting began with Quran and was followed by a short speech by Prof. Hill on the notion of Science without borders and his own interests in Biomaterials, Bone Cements and Substitutes, Bone Scaffolds and Dental Fillings. Prof. Hill is currently the Chair of Dental Physical Sciences Barts and The London Medical School at Queen Mary University of London. He owns over 300 Original Papers, Patents and Conference Papers on the above subjects including 15 Patents.

The head of international office of TUMS, Dr. Rezaei introduced USERN and its official website and also explained the notion of science without border and steps taken so far to propagate USERN. Guests were then given a few moments to talk regarding these issues. A special form was gathered from scientists who were interested to collaborate more fully as the official advisory board of USERN and were encouraged to fill the membership for the advisory board and submit their C.V. on the USERN webpage.
