The Cancer Immunology text book the first official USERN publication by the cancer immunology research interest group was awarded the best published translational book at the 17th Avicenna Festival. Published 2015 by the Springer and result of an intense collaboration of 266 renowned Experts from 91 academic centers worldwide as a text book is now well known by students of immunology and medical researchers worldwide. Our view of cancer and immunological aspects of its pathology has changed drastically over the past decade. Cancer interaction with immune system induces epigenetic changes in cancer cells and the natural selection of less immunogenic colons and a compensatory mechanism in immune responses. This book gives a better view of pathology of malignant cells and their interaction with immune system and therapeutic strategies implicate with these mechanisms.
