USERN Workshop on Systematic Review and Meta Analyses Ends with Farshad FarzadFar 4-hour lecture on fundamentals of Meta Analyses using the STATA software
USERN encourages and supports scientific events as workshops, educational courses, conferences and symposium, directed by USERN interest groups, offices or members of USERN advisory board members. With special consideration to scientific events outside Tehran and those independently held from USERN scientific deputy. USERN offers scientific and publicity support to these events, and in near future a webpage for separate management of the advisory board members, lecturers and delegate to the managing group of the event. Tabriz office of USERN and USERN office at the Neuroscience Research Center held first independent USERN workshops earlier in 2017. USERN three-day workshop was held in three consecutive weeks with Nima Rezaei, Farshad Farzadfar and Reza Majd Zade active USERN board members being the trainers. The three day workshop was unexpectedly receptioned by USERN members and non-members, with more than 70 students attending this 12-hr workshop. USERN interest groups and active organizing members had the chance to attend the workshop with a significant discount.
Next USERN workshop on Statistical analyses is due on February 28th and March 1st, by Mahsa Gajarzade PhD in epidemiology from Iranian research center for non-communicable disorders.
