The third round of the USERN Miniature Talk 2021 competition will be held from August 6th to August 12th.
USERN miniature talk or MTalk is an annual event for junior researchers presenting a powerful short-term idea in less than 6 minutes. In 2018, MTalk began its first event; in 2020, the second event was held, and this year, the 3rd MTalk competition is going to be held in four rounds.
Talks have no topic limitation to present multiple topics and have a diversity of issues to engage a wide range of audiences and junior scientists in different fields of science. The speakers are challenged to present their innovative ideas in a maximum of 6 minutes.
The talk aims to spread novels and surprising ideas that the audience has rarely heard about. Also, it could help speakers to promote their presentation skills. The talk would bring science and art together. During the talk presentation, a wide range of artworks and art performances, including music, painting, and calligraphy, would be represented to bring a highly attractive and energetic presentation to the audience. Finally, presentation judgment would be held at the third or fourth step of the event. Judgment and evaluation of presentation are preliminary based on two criteria. The project itself and your presentation skills in the addition art performances are also judged and evaluated.
The third round of evaluation of the MTalk 2021 will be held from August 6th to August 12th. More than 150 junior researchers will be participating in this event and present their topics in a highly competitive environment. The winners of this round will be the finalists of MTalk and deliver their final presentations during the 6th USERN congress in 2021.
