February 16th: Iranian Academy of Medical Science Recognizes Nima Rezaei as the Top Best Iranian Scientists in Medicine for the Decade... Iran's Nano Awards of the Year Bestowed: Accepted by Top Scientists as USERN Board members Snagging Six out of Ten Awards, February 20th, 2017.
High members of Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences gathered in annual meeting to recognize Iran's top scientist of the decade, top paper of the year and most cited research product. Not surprising that Rezaei, current founding president at USERN who was among finalists, ten top listed researchers of the decade, was there to receive the final accolade. ''Iran's top medical researcher of the decade, in honor of a decade of perdurance and in recognition of your scientific achievements'' was the short! title to Feridoon Azizi Award to which Rezaei was nominated last year and recipient this year. Later in his reception speech Rezaei, who was clear-cut or at least a decade younger than other nominees/winners, addressed the philosophy of USERN and science without borders and a brief of USERN policies both internal and outward:

Which was indeed well received among the elite audience. Dr. Morteza Mahmoudi and Dr. Mohammad Reza Zarrin Dast, board members in material science and pharmacology, accepted Dr. Noorodin Hadavi Award on top paper and Top Academic Group respectively.
The Nano technology development headquarters of vice presidency for science affairs evaluates active organizations and people in Nano technology every year to introduce selected top Nano Scientists, Research Bodies, and Journals. Dr. Morteza Mahmoudi, Dr. Masoud Salavati Niasari and Dr. Mohsen Sheikholeslami, and Dr. MehrOurang Ghaedi, ranked the highest four of general awards, while six of the top ten awards went to USERN advisory board member, Dr. Reza Ansari Khalkhali and Dr. Davooddomiri Ganji.
