USERN Has Dedicated It’s Annual Spring Event To A Global Concern. But Don’t Be Quick To Judge. It’s Not All about Immunology and Public Health and Microbiology. We Asked USERN Advisory Board Members And USERN Expert In All Areas Of Science To Tell Us How They Think COVID Had Changed Their World?
USERN is running the first global Zoom event, co-hosted by Tehran University of Medical Sciences, on no subject other than the global Corona Virus 19 pandemic. This three-day event will be held on Zoom, May 28-30 from 13:00-17:00 GMT (17:30-21:30 Tehran time). Scientists from US, UK, Italy, Venezuela, India and New Zealand will cover everything, from COVID propagation models, to successful lockdown models, and from mental health aspects of the pandemic to humanitarian causes and finally leveraging vitamins, antibodies, artificial intelligence and machine learning to combat the virus. Professor Carlos Camargo, Emergency medicine and public health specialist from Harvard University, Dr. Hans Ochs, Pediatrician and Immunologist from University of Washington Dr. James Collins, Medical Engineer from MIT, Dr. John Watkins Epidemiologist from University of Wales, Dr. Kaveh Khoshnood from Yale School of Public Health, and Dr. Eduardo Rodriguez-Roman are only a few of USERN Advisory Board Members and Ambassadors who will deliver lectures in this initiative. Each day encompasses four 30-minutes lectures, each followed by a 30-minute discussion panel and audience Q&A.
