Professor Shekoufeh Nikfar Is One Of The Ten USERN Advisory Board Members Who Generously Gave Away A 500-USD Travel Grant For The USERN Congress And PID Course 2018. We Asked Her A Few Questions About USERN And USERN Prize, Few Weeks Before The USERN Congress 2018, and Here Are Her Answers…

Professor Shekoufeh Nikfar is one of the ten USERN Advisory Board members who generously gave away a 500 USD travel grant for USERN Congress and PID Course 2018. Shekoufeh Nikfar holds a pharmacy doctorate, MPH, and PhD of pharmacoeconomics and pharmaceutical administration from faculty of pharmacy, at Tehran university of Medical Sciences (TUMS). She is the former assistant professor of Food and Drug Organization at Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical education and advisor of Iran national regulatory affairs and member of pharmacoeconomics’ committee in collaboration with Iranian Drug Selecting Committee. With more than 5000 citations from 184 articles, Dr. Nikfar is a top 1% scientists and a member of USERN Advisory Board since 2016. We Asked her to reply to a few questions about USERN and USERN prize, few weeks before the USERN Congress and Prize Festival 2018, and here are her answers…

FR: How long have you known USERN? Describe USERN Prize in a short sentence.

SN: I have known USERN since the first day of 2016. The goal of USERN prize is to encourage young scientists and show junior the scientific path they have to choose.  

FR: What was your motivation to give a travel grant to the 2018 USERN Laureate under 40 years old?

SN: Science is a continuous phenomenon and life can be accompanied it by believing to generation. Supporting young delegates of USERN with a grant is the exact thing of science for development of science and knowledge without borders. I tried to remove some of these borders by helping young adults with their path in multidisciplinary knowledge. 

FR: How do you envision future of USERN Congress and USERN Prize festival?

SN: Very supportive and excellent. I see a day when USERN Festival is acknowledged by many scientific societies and they introduce their students to the prize and the prize gains a big prestige due to its pristine selection process. 

FR: What do you wish to say to the 2018 USERN Laureate/Delegate who has won the travel grant?

SN: I wish you a brilliant and fruitful experience in meeting pioneer scientists and attendance to this excellent event, and of course all success in your future career.
