Closal of 1st IFPPP, pediatric painting festival

The closing ceremony of the 1st International Festival of Pediatric Patients’ Paintings (IFPPP) was held in the presence of more than 60 government agencies, public institutions, art and medical centers representatives on the International child’s day (October 8th, 2015).

More than 900 artwork from 26 countries were received and 200 paintings were chosen for exhibition on the final week of the festival. Children and teenagers under 18 who were hospitalized at least once were supposed to send their painting to the end of August 23rd, 2015 (Doctor’s day). This festival was honored by the support of more than 60 medical centers, drug companies, children’s health and art organizations including the IPOPI organization, the PROJECT and the Child Foundation. The closing ceremony was held on the International child’s day (October 8th, 2015) in the presence of owners of the selected artwork and children from Iran, Lebanon, Slovenia, Spain, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Germany. Ambassadors of Hungary, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq and the second runners of Germany and India, and Iran’s minister of health and medical education Dr. Hashemi, the head of Tehran’s university of Medical Science Dr. Doctor Jafarian, artists and illustrator who work at children’s areas were the special guests of the ceremony. Iran’s minister of health announced his support such festivals to improve mental health of pediatric patients. The Hungarian ambassador Mr. Yanosh Kwach revealed the poster of the 2nd IFPPP to be held on 2016 in Hungary.
