USERN and Educational Establishment Belarusian State Medical University

This agreement was signed on April 22nd 2014 in the presence of Educational establishment of "Belarusian State Medical University", Dr. Sikorski rector of BSMU and Dr. Rezaei.

It is USERNs top priority to develop and provide an infrastructure to communicate with researches all over the world and involve of as much members as possible in order to materialize the goal of authentic, ethical and scientific network. In the light of these purposes a memorandum of understanding (Mou) was signed last April between USERN president and Anatol Sikorski the rector of the Minsk region of the Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU).

 

This memorandum identifies a collaboration between the USERN organization and the BSMU in coordinating scientific programs, exchanging and training scientists and researchers, sharing information and technology and holding meeting and workshops and conferences. This Mou also necessitates regular meeting between two parties to provide proposals for mutual projects, running projects and assessing current or completed projects. This agreement was signed on April 22nd 2014 in the presence of Educational establishment of "Belarusian State Medical University", Dr. Sikorski and Dr. Rezaei. Professor Nima Rezaei also the Vice-Dean for International Relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences invited the head of the BSMU to visit the Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

 

Rector of the University A. Sikorski presented information on the history, structure, training and research activities BSMU and expressed readiness to develop all areas of cooperation, in particular in the field of immunology and pediatrics, and therefore proposed to discuss the possibility of establishing trilateral cooperation, including the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology. Prof. Sikorsky also pointed out that currently, the university enrolled 238 Iranian citizens. Especially in Dental School, which until today has trained 177 Iranian students. Dr. Anatoly Viktorovich said that the university maintains close cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus and expressed the hope that this visit will contribute to further strengthen the friendship between the Iranian and Belarusian peoples.
