Chinese traditional Practice, Flaws and Faults of Human Eye, and Light Rays Shedding over Scientists Journey to Reach the Top: USERN Talks Entering New Dimensions?
USERN Workshop on medical applications of Qi Gong started with unusual introduction lecture by USERN board member Dr. Roja Rahimi, on herbal drugs and herbal medicine, followed by a short session by Dr. Amir Homman Kazemi on history of herbal and ancient medicine in Iran and China. A faculty member of Beijing University in Chinese traditional medicine, Kazaemi experts in Chinese Qi Gong practice and chiropractic. Second part of the session continued with a practical guide by Dr. Fernando Salgado from Santiago De Compostella. Spending months of practice on Qi Gong and Chinese medical practice, Dr Salgado shared his experience with attendees of about forty, many of whom haven’t heard about USERN workshops before until they came across with the title "introduction of integrative medicine and medical Qi Gong".
Less than 24 hours after, a physician and a physicist, presented commencement lectures as part of the opening sessions of the Second Optic School by Universal Council of Ophthalmology, USERN active interest group on eye science.
Pablo Artal and Ioaniss Pallikaris were invited to USERN talks 21 and 22, to address topics on aspects of human visual system as organ and optics systems. Invited to optic school, sponsors, students and medical practitioners were the audience, who shared common interests in Optics and practice of the eye. Performances by young artist Fatemeh Taati and USERN SRD member Mona Mirbeik were usual’s to the ceremony, later propounded to speakers each.
