Climate change is a very important worldwide issue, but unfortunately, its importance is not appreciated in many developing countries like Iran. Climate changes that lead to an increase in diarrheal disease, viral hepatitis and other infectious diseases, malnutrition, risks to food security, inadequate amounts of clean water and chemical contamination and related diseases, increase functional gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. Global warming leads to a reduction in water levels and rainfall. More than 80% of Iran is in the arid and semi-arid regions and we are at risk of drought.
