Definition

PPNCD is a multidisciplinary group of different fields of research related to prevention of non communicable disease (NCD) from their origin. It aims to provide a forum for researchers and students interested in novel insights on the interplay of environmental, genomic, and lifestyle factors on the development of NCDs. It encourages basic science, clinical, and epidemiological studies in different domains including (but not limited to) clinical epidemiology, environmental epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, and health promotion. All such efforts are aimed towards primordial prevention of NCDs.
