International Network for Photo Medicine and Photo Dynamic Therapy (INPMPDT)

Objective

The INPMPDT is organized to create road map to grow these fields with educational programs such as training courses, meetings, special workshops. Moreover, all participants are given an opportunity to exchange views, discuss their own plans and research projects.

Definition

On 20 December 2013, the UN General Assembly 68th Session proclaimed 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015).The International Year of Light was a global initiative which highlighted to the citizens of the world the importance of light and optical technologies in their lives, for their futures, and for the development of society. Light is a certain phenomenon and the only phenomenon beyond the Einstein relativity theory. Light speed is the ultimate known speed for us and giving life by radiation is the nature of light.
