Objective

Our objective in the ENT interest group is to investigate and analyze novel advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. By employing interdisciplinary scientific methods, we aim to achieve a deeper understanding of the pathogenesis of these conditions and develop effective solutions to improve patients‘ quality of life. A particular focus of our group is conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Our efforts include enhancing scientific knowledge in the ENT field through clinical and laboratory research, as well as the application of modern technologies such as medical imaging and targeted therapies.

<p>Otolaryngology, or ENT, is a branch of medicine focused on diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. This specialty encompasses conditions such as hearing loss, ear infections, balance disorders, sinusitis, and issues with speech and swallowing. Practitioners in this field receive both medical and surgical training to care for both adult and pediatric patients. Given the high prevalence of ear, nose, and throat disorders and their impact on quality of life, advancements in technology and medical research in this area are of significant importance.</p>
