Anticonvulsant effects of Noscapine against Status Epilepticus induced by lithium-pilocarpine in Rats: Involvement of Nrf2/HO-1 and NLRP3 pathways - Accepted in the Journal "Naunyn-Schmiedeberg's Archives of Pharmacology"

Experimental Medicine Research Center


I've worked on a preclinical study, examining the anticonvulsant effects of noscapine in rats. This study has been accepted in Naunyn Schmiedeberg Archives of Pharmacology.

Iranian Center of Neurological Research (ICNR)


I've been working as a researcher on motor neuron disease in this center. We are running a cohort and two cross-sectional Studies.


 



Executive Experience


USERN Executive Internship


I began my role as an executive intern at USERN from January 2024, helping in running USERN Research Week, USERN Research Internship, and E-Learning. This oppurtunity is so valuable for me, helping me to expand my soft skills, including teamwork, communication, and time management.


GI Club


My co-workers and I have established a student scientific association on gastroenterology. We plan to hold educational sessions, make podcasts, provide research opportunities for students interested in gastroenterology, and so on. This has been a valuable experience for me to develop my creativity and teamwork skills.


Medication


Medication is a student scientific association with a wide range of activities; from medical education to self-development. In my opinion, the highlight of my work at Medication is holding Case Based Learning (CBL) sessions for basic sciences medical students.

Mentor at Care Talk 2023


Care Talk is a presentation competition that is held by USERN Care Office each year. In this year’s competition, 6 mentees were assigned to me. I worked with them for about a month and guided them toward having a more creative and attractive presentation.


Miniature Talk Competition 2023


USERN holds this competition yearly. I took part in this year’s competition; and my talk, titled “How Memory Works?” was selected as a candidate for best presentation.


Miniature Talk Internship 2023


During this four-month internship held by USERN, I practiced and developed communication, presentation, and PowerPoint skills.

Licences and Certifications


9th USERN Research Week


In this series of workshops, I learned and tried to gain deep insight into the following: Scientific Writing, Journal Selection, Submission and Peer-Review, Basic Statistics, Systematic Reviews, Meta-analysis, and Editing Books with International Publishers.


Students’ Scientific Research Center Workshops


I took part in “Research Methodology” and “Statistics and SPSS” Workshops of SSRC, which I found very useful.


Jahat School


In this multidisciplinary school held for junior students, I learned about Research, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Nano-medicine.
