Interest Group of CoronaVirus 2019 (IGCV_19)

Objective

This group aimed to do a series of systematic reviews on diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Then, diagnostic methods with more sensitivity and specificity as well as more effective treatments will be reported to reduce disease and medication consequences as well as its mortality. Additionally, it is expected to reduce the related costs of disease, especially in developing countries by using pooled results. Moreover, some clinical trial studies may be suggested/designed based on the obtained results and reported or observed methodological problems of reviewed studies.

Definition

Nowadays, the initiation of a global research association is essential to take advantages of the experiences of all researchers and scientists who have been active in the field of COVID-19. Indeed, the establishment of such an investigation team could facilitate the gathering of worldwide findings on Covid-19 and use it from the potential of researchers in developing countries alongside international experts. Indeed, guides and guidelines can be designed by means of the data and the experiences of researchers at the global level to be available and used in the international health care systems.
