Objective

The aim is to join international collaboration and promote collaborative research, projects and publications on ECEDI and ECEDI education and development. We expect the network to bring together and facilitate joint efforts by practitioners, scholars and educators promoting transdisciplinary and integrated approaches to ECEDI services and education. Ongoing work is to focus on research and prepare a proposal for a volume of the Integrated Sciences series entitled “Early Childhood Education, Development and Intervention: Towards Participatory and Integrated Solutions”.

Definition

Education, cognitive development and early childhood intervention focuses on (A) providing a range of early childhood services, including education and early development; (B) specialized services and support for infants and young children with disabilities and/or developmental delays; (C) supporting and assisting families in all aspects of early development, well-being and participation in family and social life. We believe that promoting ECEDI research and education is important for developing effective and quality ECEDI solutions.
