Objective

MeGeNe (Medical Genetics Network) group has focused on genetic diseases (including hereditary and Non-hereditary disorders), with the aim of undertaking original research and review articles, reporting interesting cases, as well as holding workshops in order to train molecular genetic techniques. Researchers interested in this field are invited to cooperate by sending resumes via e-mail.

Definition

With respect to our increasing knowledge of crucial medical genetics’ roles in concerning the clinical diagnosis, identifying the new genes involved in genetic disorders, finding mutations in identified genes in order to targeted therapy and possible prevention of transmission to the next generation, screening for certain genetic diseases and etc., nowadays this science plays a more prominent role in the practice of medicine. Variety of genetic techniques have been used to achieve the mentioned purposes.
