Laszlo Marodi

László Maródi is Professor in the Department of Infectious and Pediatric Immunology at the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center in Debrecen, Hungary. He received his MD from the University of Debrecen in Debrecen, his PhD from the University Medical School in Leiden, The Netherlands, and a DSc from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Dr. Maródi's major field of interest is pediatric immunology and infectious diseases, and his research activities focus on molecular pathology of primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs) and immunity of the human neonate. Dr. Maródi is the head of the Debrecen Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Center for PIDs, the coordinator of the J Project, an Eastern and Central European PID awareness and clinical research collaboration program, and former head of the European Society for Immunodeficiencies PID in Development Working Party.
