ANDREA SCOZZAFAVA

  Full professor of General and inorganic chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Florence, he is author of more than 550 publications in the following fields 1) spectroscopic and structural characterization of coordination compounds, 2) study of the structure-function relationship in metalloenzymes, 3) isolation and characterization of enzymes involved in biodegradation of aromatic compounds, 4) synthesis of metalloenzymes' inhibitors with potential pharmaceutical applications.

 The results of his researches has been presented in many international conferences where he has been invited to give lectures or organize minisymposia.
