| About Me |
|---|
I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in molecular biology and genetics, currently completing my PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. I have been fortunate to gain experience in diverse research environments, working on complex scientific questions in collaborative settings. I especially value opportunities for cross-disciplinary research, as they allow me to learn from different perspectives, develop new approaches, and continue growing as a scientist.
The age-old questions surrounding the origin and early evolution of life on Earth have long captivated my curiosity and continue to guide my academic pursuits. My current projects focus on computational phylogenetic reconstruction and molecular clock analyses of ancient enzyme families involved in some of the earliest anaerobic and oxygen-dependent metabolic pathways. Through this work, I hope to contribute to a deeper understanding of the origin and early evolution of life on Earth.
