The field of scientific activities:

Investigation of the electron and phonon spectra, heat capacity, spectral densities of carbon nanostructures, thin film and nanostructures with local and extended defects:

-        analytically and numerically calculate the electron and phonon spectra of the studied carbon nanostructures;

-        study of the conditions of formation and characteristics of quasiparticle states localized near defects: impurities and boundaries of different dimensionality and chirality;

-        identify the conditions of stability of the studied structures, both ideal and those containing defects;

-        calculation and analysis of electron and phonon local spectral densities of defective atoms and atoms located near defects.

Investigation of the properties, structure and phase transformations in quasi-dimensional film and nanostructured systems with lattice inhomogeneities.

Structural states, properties and energy spectrum of quasi-dimensional systems with nanostructured lattice defects.
