Thesis on “Noise Role in Dephasing and its Influence on Image Quality in Diffusion Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DMRI)”. In this thesis, diffusion dephasing is examined through the Langevin equation. That means randomness regarding particle positions and magnetic field amplitude are taken into account through white Gaussian noise. Then, the Langevin equation is analytically solved with and without the effect of particle inertia when randomness is solely due to the random position of particles.
