My interest in medicine has been developed since the very beginning of my education, having my father and mother as medical doctors accompany me. Then, I graduated as a medical doctor with a strong passion for psychiatry during the 18 months of clinical training. I pursued my interest in performing clinical research activities in a level 4 epilepsy center with a perspective of psychiatric disorders associated with epilepsies. I am a detail-oriented person with a strong belief in self-development and ethical professional behavior in practice and leadership. I have had the opportunity to lead research teams within my two years of research career.
