Objective

The purpose of the "Cancer Biology Signaling Pathway Interest Group (CBSPIG) is to promote and encourage researchers to investigate about the types of cell signaling pathways include RTK/RAS pathway, NF-κB pathway, JAK-STAT pathway, Nrf2 pathway, PI3K pathway, Wnt pathway, Myc pathway, p53 pathway, Hippo pathway, Notch pathway, and etc. This group provides a forum for researchers by scientific communication to investigate perfectly together. Researchers interested in this field are invited to cooperate by sending resumes via e-mail.

Definition

Cancer is driven by genetic and/or epigenetic alterations that allow cells to over- proliferate. Many of these alterations map to signaling pathways that control cell function, such as cell division, cell growth, cell death, cell fate, cell motility, and can be placed in the context of distortions of wider signaling networks that fuel cancer progression, such as changes in the tumor microenvironment, angiogenesis, and inflammation. Aberrant signaling of just one pathway can have huge implications on wider signaling networks that consequently promote cancer progression and metastasis.
